Lucy Davies

Lucy Davies trained at St Martins and Brighton and has a BA ( Hons ) Degree. She lives in Watford, Hertfordshire and works mainly from her studio at home. In the summer however she spends a lot of time at her family caravan near Padstow, where she paints lively mixed media paintings of the North Cornish coast. Lucy has spent every summer in this part of Cornwall since her childhood and has felt a strong affinity to the area - always drawn to the rugged coastline and wild, exciting seas. One of her large paintings of a Cornish stone wall got her shortlisted into a national competition and she appeared on television in Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in October 2015.
