Mike Hindle

Graduating in Fine Art from West Surrey College of Art and Design, Mike moved to Brighton where he worked in various studios creating a wide range of art forms. He moved to Cornwall in 1992.Then concentrating on painting full time, he began to exhibit his work regularly and now has a strong following of collectors both nationally and internationally.Living in South West Cornwall, Mike gets his inspiration from the dramatic landscape around him. He is able to capture the essence of the subject and convey vast areas of space stretching off into the distance.His paintings radiate layer upon layer of colour building into vibrant pictures which take the onlooker to a calm, uplifting and inspirational place.Leaving out clutter, they focus on the basic nature of the subject, colour and light portrayed with the depth of experience that comes with years of painting.
