Vanessa Fawcett

My work explores the relationships between land and sea. Each of these paintings describe different moments spent walking this beautiful coastline. Back in my studio with sketches and photographs I set to work recalling my walks and the spaces I have witnessed. I use a variety of materials in the process, oil paint being my absolute favourite for its natural lustre.
